White’s Spicy Garlic Prawns cooked in beer
1kg Whole Green King Prawns
80 Grams Butter
1/2 Tsp Paprika
4 Cloves Garlic Finely Chopped
1/2 Tsp Tabasco Sauce
3/4 Cup (180ml) Beer
2 Tbsp Parsley
Halve prawns by splitting lengthways.
Remove vein, rinse pat dry with paper towel.
Melt 40 grams of butter in large frying pan medium heat.
Cook prawns in batches for 1 minute and set aside.
Melt remaining butter in a pan with paprika, garlic and tobasco sauce, cook for 1 minute.
Add beer increase heat to high, cook until sauce thickens slightly.
Remove from heat add prawns and parsley, toss and serve.
