Steamed Mussels with Cider & Mustard


2 kg Mussel’s
1 Tbsp Thick Cream
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
1 Cup Chopped Bacon
1 Cup Chopped Onions
1 Cup Cider
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Cloves of Garlic Chopped


Heat olive oil in large pan, add garlic, onions and bacon. Cook over medium heat until softened. Add mussels and cider. Place lid on and cook over a high heat until mussels have opened. Take off heat, add cream and mustard stir through. Place in bowls with juice. Serve with crusty bread.
